I think your prediction about the lack of tickets for at least the New Pornographers is way off. Here's why:
1) just checked TM and was able to select 8 tickets -- so there's a number left
2) more predictive however is the following. Played the first 3 cuts of their new CD, Twin Cinema in lecture on Thursday and none of the 450 students could name the band. Now perhaps this is because they're shy or maybe they're just not as hip as you!

Actually, I think Zulu still even had some left. I don't get it, it's the best NP album yet and they're not sold out in their homebase.
Anyways, first year students are damned fools. They still listen to the likes of Nickelback, Linkin Park, and all kinds of other trash that you hear on the radio.
Damn kids. I want to check out the NP's and CYHSY.
At least you didn't have to listen to Placebo all weekend.
