I don't have the balls to be a hobo, but I do carry my camera just about everywhere with me now.
I knew a guy that rode the rails a few years back; he worked at Happy Planet for a few months. He loved the trains so much that he got these awesome train track tattoos up his arms; he wasn't a heroin user. He was kind of a modern-day hobo as he would use Vancouver as a base that he'd come back to every year or so for a while. He'd been all over north and central america on the rails. He knew people all over the place. Cool guy.
