This would go on to be part of a beet/swiss char salad that my sister (Mridula) came up with and Nino (brother-in-law) helped make. It was very good. I thought this would be a popular image with the cooks out there.
It was warm. Cooked for a a bit in some oil (grapeseed or olive) I think with something else. I can get the recipe from my sister if you'd like. It was really good.

I grew both beets and chard this year, and the thought never occurred to me - was it a warm salad?
